Gregory Woll was born and raised in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, spending most of his childhood in the nearby towns of St. Clair and South Manheim Township. He graduated from Schuylkill Haven High School in 2003 with a desire to serve his country, leading him to enlist in the military that same year.
Initially serving with the 365th Engineering Battalion out of Schuylkill Haven, Gregory decided to enter active duty service in 2005, serving with the 4th Infantry Division based out of Fort Hood, Texas, and deploying to Iraq for two tours in 2005 and 2007. While deployed, he demonstrated his commitment to education by earning an associate degree in Information Technology.
After completing his military service, Gregory returned to Schuylkill County and became a partner in a family-owned renewable energy business, serving numerous customers in Schuylkill County and neighboring areas. He continued to pursue his educational goals, completing his bachelor's and master's degrees in Information Science and Cyber Security. He later worked for Air Products and Chemicals for a few years before joining Trimble, where he currently works as a Principal Cyber Security Engineer.
Gregory has also been active in his community, volunteering as Logistics Chair for the American Cancer Society and serving as Cubmaster and Den Leader for the Port Carbon Cub Scout pack. He is married to Laura Woll of Schuylkill Haven, and they have four children ranging from 7 to 15 years old who keep him busy and active. Despite his numerous accomplishments, Gregory remains dedicated to his family, community, and career.
